Myrtle Beach Sailing School Course Descriptions & Pricing

Our hands-on approach to sailing instruction allows you to maximize your potential while increasing your ability to learn to sail safely and confidently. Each lesson has a 4 person limit (unless family) to allow for personal attention and increased time sailing the boat.

Chips, crackers, sodas, and bottled waters are available for all sailing lessons.

  • INTRODUCTION TO SAILING:

    There is a two-person minimum per class. This can include one student and one "rider".

    Half-Day (5 Hours) - $150 per person (includes lunch)
    Full-Day (8 Hours) - $250 per person (includes lunch)
    Non-Lesson "Riders" (5 Hours) - $75 per person
    Non-Lesson "Riders" (8 Hours) - $125 per person

    What To Expect:
    The Introduction to Sailing course is intended for those that have an interest in sailing and would like to find out if sailing is for them. With that in mind we have created this course to be enjoyable for everyone. You will be asked to sail the boat as a team (if more than 1 student) with the ultimate goal of operating the vessel singlehanded (solo). You will learn the basics of sailing: hoisting, trimming and easing of the sails, points of sail, simple commands, helmsmanship (steering the boat), and boating safety.
